How to Prevent Dental and Mouth Disease

Disease prevention is very important but is often forgotten or deliberately forgotten. However, we need to realize that preventing disease is actually cheaper than treating it, so why don't we prevent it before we get sick? Some of us may not know exactly how to prevent and treat it so that the health of our teeth and mouth is maintained properly.

Here are some ways you can do to prevent dental and oral disease:

  • Maintaining oral hygiene (removing plaque and bacteria). Maintaining oral hygiene can be done in various ways, one of the most effective ways is to brush your teeth regularly, so that we can break the chain that causes caries and various other oral diseases.
  • Strengthen teeth (with Flour). How to strengthen teeth by using toothpaste that contains flour. But some of us may still believe and use betel leaves to nourish our teeth. It is not recommended to brush your teeth using bricks or clay, some people still use this method in the hope that their teeth will look cleaner and stronger. But in reality the use of bricks will actually erode the tooth enamel.
  • Reduce consumption of sweet and sticky foods. The food we eat is an important nutrient for our body, but some foods may not be suitable for the health of our teeth and mouth. it does not stick to the sidelines of the teeth which will accelerate the process of caries and various other oral diseases.
  • Get used to the consumption of fibrous foods and healthy teeth. Fiber food is not only good for body health, it is also good for dental and oral health. For those who like to use toothpicks after eating to clean up leftovers, try replacing toothpicks with fruits such as apples, melons, papayas, etc. These fruits will help us to clean the waste of food that sticks to our teeth.
After we know this method, it's a good idea to start sharing this knowledge with the people closest to us so that later they can remind us if we forget. So start inviting the people closest to you and those you care about to jointly maintain healthy teeth and mouth.

Maybe it's better if you paste the writing in your sink, bathroom or dining room. From the description above can be abbreviated like this:

  1. Brush your teeth at least 2 times, namely after breakfast and before going to bed at night.
  2. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste.
  3. Brush the entire surface of the teeth for 2 minutes, and rinse only 1 time.
