             Dental care for braces wearers

To improve the arrangement of teeth, the use of stirrup or braces is increasing in various age groups. Although braces are effective, they can cause health problems if not cared for properly.

Plaque is a problem that is often experienced by denture wearers due to food residue that tends to get stuck between the braces. Therefore, oral hygiene must be considered when using braces.

Dental health care for dental care users:

   1. Brushing teeth

Brush your teeth with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste that contains fluoride. Brush top teeth from top to bottom. Instead, brush your lower teeth in a downward motion. This movement is done for each tooth. Then use a small toothbrush specially designed to clean the dirt between the shelves.

     2. Interdental cleaning

The procedure is carried out once a day with dental floss (threads) containing a special wax.

     3. Using mouthwash

Mouthwash or dental floss is a special tool for cleaning the part of the teeth between the teeth and the part adjacent to the gums. This tool sprays water at constant pressure to wash away residue.

In addition to cleaning your teeth properly, pay attention to the type of food you eat. Braces users only need to avoid hard foods, sweet foods, and sticky foods (such as chewing gum). As well as damaging the mat, such foods also cause plaque buildup, which in turn causes bad breath.
