How to care for dentures

1. Soak dentures every night or when not in use
Soak dentures in water mixed with a special denture cleaning solution overnight, then clean again if you want to use them.

2. Be careful when handling dentures
Falling or hitting other objects can cause dentures to break or break.

3. Avoid using regular toothpaste 
As previously stated, it is recommended that you use a special toothpaste for dentures.

4. Avoid hard food and hot drinks 
To maintain the shape of dentures, avoid consuming hot drinks and foods that are hard or chewy in texture, including chewing gum.

5. Regularly clean your teeth and mouth
Caring for dentures is not enough just to keep them clean. You also have to pay attention to oral hygiene and natural teeth.

6. Do routine dental and denture check-ups 

Visit the dentist regularly, at least 2 times a year.

How to Clean Dentures

The correct way to clean dentures, namely:

• ‌Rinse dentures under running water before brushing them to remove food residue or dirt.
• ‌Clean the entire surface of the dentures with a soft-bristled toothbrush and a special cleaner so that the dentures are not scratched.
• ‌Soak dentures in water that has been mixed with a special denture cleaning solution.
