Some health research suggests that there is a close relationship between dental health and overall health of the body. Disorders that occur in teeth and gums are known to cause various more serious diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, dementia, pregnancy disturbances, and stroke.
From the results of the study, there is a fact that people who do not keep healthy teeth and mouth will develop gum disease that has a higher risk of various heart problems, such as heart disease and heart valve problems.
Disturbances in the tooth cavity and the mouth in the form of gingivitis will trigger blockages in the blood vessels which cause decreases in the function or decrease in heart performance. Inflammation that occurs due to infections caused by bacteria can cause inflammation in a long period of time, and bacteria will move to the heart thereby causing deposits in the heart cavity.
In addition to other causes gingivitis, namely the presence of a sac that contains pus close to the roots of the teeth that occur due to a bacterial infection. This condition is at great risk of causing heart disorders because bacteria from infected gums can move to the heart.
Therefore, maintaining healthy teeth and mouth is an important thing so that the body is always healthy, and avoid the risk of developing heart disease. Here's how:
